About Us
Carolina Women's Physicians opened in Greenville in July 2003. Dr. Jennifer Ferguson wanted to offer women in Pitt and surrounding counties more choices for personal health care services. Her extensive training and understanding of the health concerns and issues facing women today enables her to address the special health care needs of the women in the local community.
From adolescence through menopause, Carolina Women's Physicians offers comprehensive gynecological and obstetric services and surgery.

A Texas native, Dr. Ferguson has lived in Greenville since 1992. She was a member of the teaching faculty at ECU School of Medicine prior to forming Carolina Women's Physicians in 2003. Her areas of interest include menopausal medicine and minimally invasive surgery. MORE>> |

DeEtte Reel CNM, MSN 
Carolina Women's Physicians welcomes DeEtte Reel CNM, MSN. DeEtte grew up in Raleigh, NC and received a B.S. in Zoology from N.C. State University in 1998. She relocated to Greenville, NC in 1999 and attended East Carolina University where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse. DeEtte worked in Labor and Delivery at PCMH while completing her master's degree in nursing, specializing in Midwifery. She has worked in Greenville as a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2008. |
| Samuel M. Atkinson, MD |

Dr. Atkinson is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has practiced and taught at the Brody School of Medicine for 24 years, where he was granted Emeritus Professor. His focus of care will be gynecology with special emphasis on urinary incontinence. |
